The Christmas dinner and gifts planned for the children was a success. We were able to feed over fifty children. In Bungoma Kenya, when the orphaned children hear of the excitement around Crossbased ministries orphanage they know there is going to be extra food. On Christmas day we were able to feed not only the twenty five children(25) at the orphanage but we were able to feed and give gifts to an extra twenty five ophaned children who showed up just because it was Christmas and they heard it would be food. It be great if we could open a feeding center and feed these children one meal every day. It would cost an additional $250 dollars a month but it would be worth the effort just to know that they would eat once a day. The fact that it would not be dependent on whether they were able to generate money for food or not. Please pray about sponsoring a month of food for the children who have no where to go and no Orphanage to help them. If you could find ten people and each of you willing to give $25 a month that would take care of the feeding the children. We will post pictures of this great event very soon. May God Bless you. We the fund raising is not done and we are still in need of more funds but thank God there have been some funds coming in towards the children’s Christmas dinner. I would like to say to all the blobbers out there if you could donate $15 towards the kids it would be greatly appreciated. You keep asking to be added to the blob but none of you have donated anything towards the children. We currently have thirthteen children located in the Orpanage in Bungoma, Kenya, Africa who need to attend school. These children have no parents. We are looking for sponsors for each child. The cost is $240 per year which equal to about $24 dollar a month. This $24 dollar will pay for the child uniforms, socks, shoes, and sweater. Along with a litte extra for food during the day at school.
It can be your church, your family, a group of friends at work, or it you could make a one time donation. We just need your help.
These children have no one else and we are praying that God will touch your heart and you will give. A mid is a terrible thing to waste but God said to suffer the little children and forbid them not. The average cup of coffee or soft drink cost $2.00. If you give up that drink for 12 drinks we could send a child to school for a whole month.
Would you do without and give to a child who has no one else to give? In the book of Psalms there is a scripture which reads “And no man cared for my soul.” Well these children have no one to care for them. Can we depend on you to be the one who cares?
